Hello guys welcome to the massive appeal podcast, this is episode 1 and today we have my friend Imran Cheema here and we’re just gonna be talking about random stuff. So what’s going on and if you want to do a little background time or if you do what’s happening everybody yeah just good friend of freed here he’s gonna be starting this podcast so I thought honoured to be one of the first or the first podcast so yeah I just work in advertising SEO stuff like that you know I love anything to do with you know search engines or you know conversion optimization or learning how to just you know tweak ads to get them better and better that’s what we both love to do and we’re just gonna be talking about that stuff I love any ideas that you know improve life you know there’s always something cool out there that people talk about you never even heard of also love to learn new things they have anyone that knows them Ron knows that he’s an original guys always up too late oh I say weird stuff or like just stuff that normal people would think is weird like let’s get into a little bit of like the bio hacking and drinking grass-fed butter and coffee or like optimizing your sleep or the veggie juices you drink that sort of stuff so yeah about let’s start off with sleeping so yeah yeah it’s a whole process I take it very seriously if you think about it look you’re sleeping like what six seven eight hours a day you know that’s you know a third of your life it has to be optimized you need to do it properly you know you don’t want to just pick whatever crappy pillow or whatever but yeah you know I just make sure it’s pitch black that’s that’s critical and I’ve noticed no light like no night lights you know everybody knows now the blue light from your phones affects you alright so you don’t want to be you know that’s gonna keep you awake so you don’t you know you have the filters on for that but people don’t know like just how the the blue light from your phone affects you so does your room lights your room lights do the same thing they have blue they’re emitting blue light as well so you know you gotta you gotta cut that out too or you know I put on I put on blue blockers so for people that don’t know what are blue blockers so it’s like similar to like the blue blocking half butter like glasses yeah exactly glasses yeah people use them you know I think people use them for driving or and stuff like that you know I think like you know they’re they’re used for different reasons but yeah it pretty much just blocks the blue light spectrum so you kind of see like you know here you’ll see just like yellow and brown and stuff but it’s still clear you can still see things but yeah like after sunset I’ll put those on you know if I’m getting one-on-one training for better like it an hour or two before I put those on right so that no blue light is coming in and what that does is you know it helps for like when you’re ready for sleep you know your melatonin can you know start start being used or whatever it is right so yeah that that’s critical I put an eye patch on make sure everything is blacked out all right you know before I did go a little bit extreme by Headley it’s true it’s true I did you know I had like a whole like boxed out like room that just was just pitch black and I put curtains up so I kind of cut that out I got it you know yeah yeah but still I’ll put eyepatch is on and I notice the difference right yeah all right right away you notice it what about not drinking like coffee tea yeah exactly definitely you notice that you know if you’re vaping you know a couple hours before yeah it’s gonna affect your sleep and that’s the other thing you know making notes having little you know analytics like how did I sleep was there edit or was it worse and anything in life but another big one was that sleep cycle ever yeah at that question for me because I used it for a while yeah then I kind of forgot about it something attention to it and then recently you know you know I’ve been trying to get up super early know so um you know I started I tried to use that and huge difference so that’s more for people to know both sleep cycle AB that’s basically detecting your sleep cycles and then it naturally wakes you up right so like slowly so like a blaring alarm it just slowly naturally wakes you up and it doesn’t make you as mad in the morning yeah pretty much pretty much any alarm will Ken doesn’t know so wake you up drink sleep if you wake up drink deep sleep you’re gonna get up groggy and it’s you know it’s just sucks getting up but what this alarm does you know you guys can check it out it’s it should be on all the app stores but what this does is as you’re waking up like it knows that okay you’re moving around in your bed so you’re not in deep sleep so wake you up in a half an hour window or 45-minute window whatever works for you alright and I I suggested to a friend and he’s like nah I think swag I tried it it doesn’t work but I’m like just stick to it just like anything else stick to it try a few different settings mess around with it and give it a couple weeks and then see I meet the guy like two months later he comes to me and he’s like man that thing changed my life he was so blown away he’s like thank you so much he goes I want to donate like 30 bucks to them and like all the he just went nuts about it because I think it’s a paid version I don’t know what the paid version does I haven’t paid for it I haven’t user nowise in the paid version had like more alarms or just like more settings or like more features and stuff but like even the base the basic ones free right yeah it basically someone’s free and I guess people start off with that and then I remember I don’t know if they’ve changed it recently but I remember awhile it was there was more alarm types like the sounds that it wakes you up to I think that was like their upsell or I don’t know but whatever reason it works like yeah yeah definitely it works it’s detecting your sleep cycles and it’s waking up naturally so you guys haven’t heard of that check that out what else is talking about biohacking is talk about bulletproof coffee so a lot of people like especially at work when we’re putting butter in our tea and coffee people I think a lot of people don’t understand like grass-fed butter all the healthy fats like obviously avocados and all that stuff is good for you but people don’t understand the benefits of like grass-fed butter so what do you think about that like no it’s true I you know that that bulletproof dude he hyped it up and I learned I learned it from that just his podcast is great to hear a lot of great information amazing interviews always on the cutting edge of you know medical science learning crazy things whenever but there’s a lot of stuff that’s pretty seem though – right then he talks about it I don’t know like you know I don’t know what kind of like vitamins and yeah a lot of extreme stuff like butter is just this representing like they get a lot deeper than that right exact I have your own idea you know make you do your own research and all that stuff like I’m not a big fan of too many vitamins yeah just you know I don’t think you know something like pill for me yeah exactly obviously he had regular vitamins from food is important but pill form I don’t know how much is actually being absorbed from your body and I don’t know you guys knows what they’re putting in it like I heard that it’s just all this like random crap that they put in there it’s not even actually good for you or yeah they kind of like synthetically make it and now they’re like in a lab and I was like okay now scientifically this is vitamin C right versus vitamin C from an orange or from broccoli you know what I’m saying like it’s it’s that that’s that’s real vitamin C but yeah with the butter that makes sense you know like that’s what opened my eyes was that you know especially in the West what we’re used to you know our family you know from Pakistan back home they like real food from the farm the cow is eating fresh grass you know roaming around that’s just normal for them right over here in the West you know we all know now cows are eating what they’re not supposed to eat they’re eating corn right that messes them up it gets them sick right and when they get sick they start acting you know that now you give them antibiotics alright it’s all that’s what a lot of the problems is is that these cows are getting antibiotics right hormones and other things whatever is so many other things but it’s the antibiotics and the reason they’re getting antibiotics is because feeding of corn right corn is cheap makes it fat whatever remember that documentary I think it was like Food Inc or something and they show like how a messed up these cows are and they have like a window in the window and scoop out all this junk with all this crap because the cows can’t digest a property yourself and those doesn’t mean that there isn’t eating yeah so recently I’ve cut down a lot of like eating beef just eating chicken if we do have beef then it’s you know try to get organic or grass-fed beef or it was pretty I see but I don’t know there’s just pretty disgusting like if you see the stuff that’s happening with these cows I like all this does pretty gross no it’s true I saw that on on that show dirty jobs and it’s covered and I thought it was a joke the first time I saw the window in the cow I’m like that can’t be real there’s no way that’s right yeah and I think that’s what was on the episode – even even the guy was like nah that can’t be real some somebody asked like is this real all right is they probably not you know they looked at it maybe the research and they’re like yeah at Israel they just put this the kind of window into the cow and then they like open it up and scoop out all the all the gunk it’s so we’re like cows are supposed to be eating grass right and that’s like the natural way or whatever but now we have to spend more money on eating like grass-fed stuff right a grass-fed butter is pricey grass-fed meat is like super pricey and then you get all this like bootleg fake meat it was like mixer all this other crap I know you’re talking about like McDonald’s and like these places but just in general like the beef is gross well it makes sense it makes sense because it’s not what you eat it’s what you eat eats right grass is coming from the ground it has all the vitamins and nutrients and everything you need and then through that grass you know gets into the cows meat and now you’re eating that you know so you’re getting the benefits of that what if he’s just eating corn and he’s in like a dark little room can’t even move you know I’m sure those effects are gonna affect you that but you’re singing about the buttered coffee right so you know we’ve been doing that for a while it’s pretty legit well I don’t really do coffee anymore kind of just do tea I like the empties and the whole thing is it’s kind of hiked up and it’s a little bit of a branding thing of like butter coffee whatever but the main thing is just get your omega threes in yeah just get that butter doesn’t matter if it’s in coffee so I noticed with the coffee it definitely gives you a big boost in the morning like any coffee does plus we put the M CTO in there as well that’s doing it but it just kind of gets you to boost it I think Yeah right but some people need that in the morning right I think more of just get that butter in but we just started making it with T recently and it’s really good really I don’t know the coffee just sometimes good you guys stop making just regular coffee without the butter just gives me a stomachache or just doesn’t say right for whatever reason right yeah but I think just getting that butter it could be what tea could be with anything just get those healthy fats it right one thing I want everyone to do their own research we tell a lot of people about this stuff but you got to do your own research like we don’t be responsible for someone having a hard time I always tell people like how much butter I eat I’m like but dude man talk to your doctor I don’t know this could be horrible for you but well that’s nothing like doctors like any well anyone that you ask over here they’re gonna be like no butter is bad for you this that so yeah you gotta do your own research do some research on bulletproof coffee bulletproof and Dave Asprey Dave asked me so he has like a couple books out too that are pretty cool yeah actually his books are sick we got the one we got one better baby book all right and I think his wife wrote or something is his wife’s an MD and she wrote it and just talked about all the health benefits or what to eat you know be prepared for your child and like you know just like and it’s pretty much it gets to healthy fats we’re talking about making little avocado things all these little sweet little recipes and you know but my wife was crazy but she loved it she was just like taking notes and yeah yeah one came after I don’t know what it was some cookbook was a cookbook or just like you just held it like health in general right yeah there was a lot of good stuff in there too yeah but yeah because I haven’t heard of that definitely check out Dave Asprey bulletproof bulletproof coffee thank if you guys don’t know supposed to use like a really clean but he says like a clean bean and they have like the pods now as well as if you have Medicare whatever maker you just throw in the pods and then just get you on like grass-fed butter like we’re in Toronto so you get it from like Longos or like nature’s Emporium those places yeah but everywhere hasn’t no I think like the word is getting out so a lot of people a lot of girl she plays that are selling it now – and then MCT oh that’s the only other main ingredient right coffee butter MCT oh yes that’s like similar to like coconut oil but it’s a lot stronger right yeah absolutely it’s kind of like medium chain triglycerides right so it’s kind of like the the good parts of coconut oil it’s kind of like you know that that’s what it is that’s why people he you know coconut oil for the MCTS so you just have it like all and like one model but and that’s the key thing is if you’re gonna you know you’re gonna have to have you have to find grass-fed butter you don’t just oh I don’t have grass-fed I’ll just use regular butter that’s a horrible idea you know you don’t want to do that and I remember like I used to travel like an hour and a half to go find butter from like some random farmer right and I’m looking for the good stuff but like now it’s now supposedly they used to get raw milk from this dude yeah and like the police raided his house and my god I mean the man got arrested so that’s another thing like rob milk I don’t I don’t know the to many details about that I’m still kind of like careful with it because it might have like some bacterias in other word I used to well then our day like someone wants to drink you’re like why are they making such a big deal out of it yeah exactly like for safety and stuff yeah I don’t know thing is safety I think it’s more of like the milk companies or and they have some sort of deals in place or who knows what’s really happening behind the scenes but who cares I wants to drink raw milk whatever yeah exactly this is a big deal while they’re like reading this guy’s place like it’s like a meth lab really it’s gonna be pushed back for that kind of stuff right what do you think about grass-fed milk or grass-fed like other grass-fed meat is really pricey yeah yeah I like food like we’re seen before it makes sense because it has a nutrients you know what have you’re eating what the cow is eating type of deal right so you get yeah even for my kids you know try to get them grass-fed milk but it is pricey you’re right you know what really though like normal milk isn’t it just like a dollar two more or like a little bit I noticed was the butter though that’s like that’s like four times more sometimes you know I can get regular butter for like three bucks so this new one that we’re getting is like six bucks yeah but it’s half the size of the $3.00 so three dollar one is like those cubes yeah this is like half done for five or six dollars but the best one from all the research and what everyone’s talking about is the Kerrygold bread mmm so that one’s kind of hard to find but almost started selling it hopefully they keep selling and people keep buying here but it’s like 11 bucks or twelve bucks yeah same stick right but you know one thing you gotta pay for make good quality right so that’s what I say to like you know it’s like you ain’t gonna pay for now or you know you pay for them like prescriptions or like health issues or you know prawns but yeah you know and you got a really I’m a big fan you know just taking notes and just paying attention cuz you’re like hey you know I’ve been doing this so long I don’t really notice a difference you know I cut out I’m trying to eat healthy I don’t really notice a difference but then if you do you’re like you know what my my nose is less stuffy you know yeah I haven’t gotten sick in a while yeah right I feel more clear you don’t really notice until you really start paying attention like I definitely notice like my nostrils have been like plugged since I was a kid you know yeah at least one of them yeah all right only recently you know trying to get like properly you know trying to eat proper is that you know both my nostrils are clear is like okay there’s something to it and another friend same thing right i I know it’s like milk doesn’t really mess with me but for whatever reason milk really mess with my buddy tried everything so many issues and he always had I don’t know what the condition is but always had a runny nose summertime where did I’m always Oh he’d go through a box of tissues like every day okay right and there’s like it’s like some health thing right okay went to so many doctors so much medicine everything he tried but he cut out dairy yeah and he goes I changed everything I saw him like so much more happier and like clear-eyed and like heaven so was he lactose intolerant or was it maybe but he’s done all those tests and stuff too right and he was taking a lot of meds and I don’t know a lot of meds but I know he’s doing you know taking medicine to like solve the problem solving but he just cut out dairy yeah and I fixed it I fixed it he’s they didn’t do any other changes and those the major he did also like you know he got involved in like just eating healthy and paying attention you know paying attention what to eat stuff like nobody really connects that holds the food you know nobody really realized so yeah that’s another thing like Western society I think like for example someone has a headache right and it could be something as simple as because they’re dehydrated they’re not drink enough water but now they start popping pills stop would populate our laws or like all this stuff right but that’s not facing the root problem like the root cause of the problem right and I think not only with headaches but that goes for everything right like you go to doctor oh this is a problem be like okay here you go ahead drop this pillar drop that pill instead of like okay what’s your diet like doctor the rest what your diet is or anything like that so definitely I agree like whether it’s like a runny nose or where the problem is I think there’s there’s like a solution for every problem if you just fix up your diet I was even I remember like at I had to do like a surgery right now like after what they’re feeding you know like jello and like you know whatever it is like faith food and then you know I’m sure there’s affecting the recovery process right which again actually I learned as safety it was one of the part of the the the what he called the bulletproof podcast okay so there’s one guy I don’t know what episodes you gotta find it but if you just research if you just search like bulletproof car accident podcast okay there’s one guy he’s a model okay he’s a model you walk in California whatever he’s trying to cross the street he gets hit by an SUV flips and then man goes into oncoming traffic gets hit by a pickup truck you know he gets nailed by two right two big vehicles he’s done okay right and he contacted you know bulletproof or whatever and he told his story on that episode and he talked about what he ate and like it’s pretty extreme stuff but I you know I did that to like you know after surgery had like college to repair the skin collagen and you know I’m CT and all that stuff whatever they recommended in there even who’s saying happens like raw liver very evening raw grass-fed liver of course you know you don’t want like fake liver but like grass-fed liver and that you know those little extreme and something are disgusting yeah but the way you do that I don’t know if they talked about it there or maybe somebody else but like you can cut it in small pieces freeze reason just yeah either like tablets have it like pills you know because liras gross but it’s raw do which is a little extreme you know but the guy tells the story on the podcast and I was like blown away and I I did like I did a quarter of what the guy recommended okay but when I’d go for follow-up yeah like the doctor was blown away by my recovery man I’ve never seen it like this you know your skin is coming back so clean right I did not think it would happen you know and he was giving himself the credit you know like a such a wonderful surgeon you know but in my head I’m like yeah man I you know I’m gonna popping all these crazy things so you know that could have been a part of it but yeah like you’re saying even in hospitals like another big one is uh what’s called the dr. Cruz you know I highly recommend checking out his stuff he goes pretty deep into the science and you know if you read his blog I have no clue what he said right but you know I watched a lot of his interviews but he goes like his blog is if you don’t have a science background you don’t know what’s going on right I’ll get like 1% of what he’s saying but in his uh you know in his YouTube interviews he’s I think he said he’s a brain surgeon and I think he’s in your leans right now right you know the top doctor there whatever like head of brain surgery or whatever it is but yeah he’s big into like you know what you put into your body and your environment that’s what I learned from him is that you know it’s not just what you eat it’s also your environment is he the one talking about like all the Rays and like cell phone rings is that the same dude yeah he talks about that a lot like you know you know there’s 3G LTE angles as we go higher in these levels there you know people are gonna get sicker and sicker once we get into 5g you’re gonna notice a difference six G if it even gets that high right there for Bill but they’re already noticing now like dark like sicknesses and diseases old people are getting during like osteoporosis for example it was like never seen in young people yeah all right but now it’s coming up right and that’s you know they’re saying it could be you know connected with that I definitely know nobody really knows like I don’t know how the studies go was any research this is the actual thing that’s causing this I’m gonna do it you’re both like bones and stop – right yeah it’s like a good analogy he gave is like it’s like you’re putting like a piece of meat in a microwave you know if you put a piece of salami in the microwave right you can see a piece of Bologna whatever it just kind of like it’s dehydrated yeah so you’re kind of doing that with your buddy you’re getting nailed by like 14 y5c 24/7 all day every day and that’s only 3G and LTE right or your Wi-Fi now as they go higher up into the scale it’s getting more more intensive because like everybody knows that like x-ray is bad for you right and x-ray is like you know over here you’re right and that but like lower on the spectrum everybody’s like whatever that’s not a big deal all right but now research is perhaps showing that it isn’t real I think it is right but you know people gotta do their own research but another big thing is with environment he’s like yeah not only Wi-Fi but like light that’s where like I start understanding the you know blue light yeah fake artificial environments varying and you know that’s we’re designed to be outside under the sunlight giving natural vitamin D yeah vitamin D from a pill is one thing who knows how much your how much how effective that is versus you know in the sunlight at certain times right even vitamin D is now they go on in the Sun so I’m getting vitamin D certain times of the day yeah around when the Sun is higher up really different times is here because when it’s lower like you know I think some time do the atmospheres but this done this you’re still getting benef benefits in the Sun yeah not necessarily vitamin D but you’re just being out in the Sun yeah you’re still getting you know beneficial light from the rain Sun has like you know in the morning it has purple light right all like just like you know when you look at that you know in school yeah the prism were broke up all the lights yeah right light has whatever ROYGBIV you know Rajee baby babies like kids you know the red whatever those are no RGB is like audio-video stuff but ROYGBIV is all that all the colors of the rainbow right there whatever red green and but like all those lights are hitting us and they’re the effect us you know in different ways so an early morning purple light yeah is you know there’s benefits to that right and then at nighttime you know you’re getting more like red light or something right and that’s that’s that’s super beneficial for you certain time yeah all right so what do you think about like people say is so I hear makes things about like sunscreen so some people say okay you didn’t have to have it like the sun’s rays is not good for you but then some people say that it’s not good and it causes skin cancer and stuff like that and yes it was like two extreme sides right yeah obviously we’re brown so we don’t like yeah we don’t like turn red or like our skin and start peeling under Sun but like all these white people think they have to put on sunscreen what are your thoughts on that yeah I did a lot of research on that and still like mainstream is like no you have to have it it’s imperative right but from even dr. Cruz I learned that from him as well it’s like I I wouldn’t I wouldn’t put that poison on my eggs you know he goes I would never do that and I you know I can you know I’m not an expert I gave my you know info from other people you know I see if there’s ice I try what works what I think works you know try to research but yeah he recommended using coconut oil all right and I remember I was on a trip with friends and I was like smearing coconut oil I myself really like your cigarette like I’m always doing big Street yes I’m like you guys don’t even know whatever you know but like you know this is like you know it protects a little bit right not too much and plus if you’re in extreme you don’t want to burn yourself that is dangerous that is that all right you don’t want to be peeling in stuff but you cover up you know wear long sleeves right you can get nice shirts now that you it’s hot outside you can cover up you know we’re a hat yeah alright you don’t want to just be like you know burning yourself that is bad for you that is batteries but yeah you can you know if you wanted to be so these people are doing it for like I guess a 10 you don’t try to get like nice skin tone or whatever yeah so a lot of people are doing like what do you call these like tanning tanning shops or like sitting in those machines is up tanning that can’t be good for you but you’re sitting in that yeah I don’t know something there’s like different there’s like different ones that have like different kind of like whatever you gonna call yeah different lights or whatever okay and like some guys have them like you’re seeing like bio actors inside somehow that they do they are beneficial like if you have red light hitting you and you’re coming back from an injury you know red right a red light is like beneficial to your body that helps for repairing damage so yeah I don’t know who you don’t know much about that but that’s what I’m saying instead of like a fake environment yeah just get outside you know maybe be one with nature you know instead of like because another a big one with that like what made me think about that was I was doing like I was learning about like how these astronauts all right and like you know as soon as they go up to space like immediately they one wasn’t going to when they’re in space their body is adjusting and changing and like starts like you know it starts adjusting for the environment it’s in and these astronauts come back like really sick I think the longest sky has been in space it hasn’t been that long as like there was like 10 months or something it was close to years maybe maybe I don’t know maybe some other guys a couple years and I’m not too sure but one dude he was there for like 10 months and he came back ruined he’s like any of these guys like his bones or decayed right they got a new special exercises over there right and it has a lot to do with your body adjust in the environment you’re alright and he’s not getting and in that little capsule it’s all like you know it’s all a fake artificial life so he comes back you can’t even walk and stuff they have to relearn how to walk or they have to relearn how to do so many things because they’re muscle because they’re in gravity their muscles are not working right but it’s just interesting that it the adjustment happens in media all right it’s they said they they tested it in there and the astronauts urine like as soon as he urinates they see like how much calcium is just drained out of their body all right like from their bones because you know the body thinks we don’t need any more bodies so efficient he’s just like okay we’re in gravity I guess I don’t need this so he just starts like you know getting rid of calcium and stuff yeah the 29 minute mark so I wanna this is the first ones I want to cut it at 30 minutes there’s a lot of information to take in Zoar our views are pretty extreme when it comes to certain things as well as so yes I just want to wrap up so this is an episode one hope you guys enjoy it and we’re gonna try to do this as much as possible so if you guys have any ideas let us know or if you guys want us to talk about something specific let us know but I was just thinking go with the flow talk about internet marketing talk about health stuff have different people on the show just try to get as much information out there as possible and I want to do it with no filter no like editing or no nothing like that just have a hope in conversation and go from there so I hope you guys enjoyed this and I’ll see you on the next one take it easy guys.
