What is the difference between paid and organic search listings?

Organic listings are usually through SEO while paid listing are usually called “Sponsored Listings” on search engines. Organic links can be clicked a thousand times and won’t cost you dime. Paid listing will usually cost you on a per click basis. Usually the more competitive the keyword, the higher the cost per click is.
